About B2 Farms, LLC

B2 Farms, LLC is a family-owned and operated agribusiness enterprise established by Brek Burgweger. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in agriculture business, Brek worked as a Field Engineer for Kiewit Construction Company in Boston, MA and as a Solutions Engineer for Nextel Communications in Washington, DC. After seven years of describing farming to his non-farm friends in the big city, he realized his passion was in production agriculture and joined forces with his family, Burgweger Farms, in May 2006. Hence, B2 Farms, LLC was established.

Today, we are commercial grain producers with agricultural operations in Fairfield/Columbia, NC and Brooklyn, WI. Our emphasis is corn, wheat and soybean production. This ‘multi-state’ approach allows us the ability to diversify our operation while reducing risk and maximizing efficiency. We also believe that this approach allows us to capitalize on critical input decisions that might become apparent in one location but not so in the other. With this approach, we’re able to stay well connected to the US Cornbelt from the Midwest to the eastern seaboard.

Going forward, our mission is to continuously increase productivity and aggressively reduce costs while growing our operation on a consistent basis that maximizes returns for both our landowners and investors. We’re looking for creative ways to expand our operation and believe that the future of agriculture rests with those who see opportunity in multi-state and international agricultural production.
